Amboseli National Park is at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, 5895m Kilimanjaro, is one of the most popular of Kenya’s national parks. It provides the classic Hollywood image of Africa. Set in rolling Savannah scenery it is dwarfed by the presence of the pink-tinged, snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro which, at 5,896 meters, is the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Against this magnificent backdrop roam vast herds of elephant accompanied by lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle hippo and wildebeest. There are also over 400 species of birds, all manner of reptilian, flora and fauna and some of the most soul-searing views in Africa.

Day 1

Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

0700hrs: Breakfast is served.

0800hrs: Pick up from your residence in the morning and drive to Amboseli national park which is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains.

1230hrs: Arrive in time for lunch at Amboseli.

1400hrs: Afternoon on your own.

1600hrs: Afternoon game drive in search of its popular residents like the well known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro.

1900hrs: Dinner and overnight at Amboseli.

Day 2

Amboseli Scenic Tour

0630hrs: Morning game drive at the park where Mount Kilimanjaro background offers good photographic scenery coupled with animals on the ground, The Big Five and the prolific bird life in this African wilderness park.

0830hrs: Breakfast is served.

1230hrs: Lunch is served.

1400hrs: Optional Maasai village visit.(extra pay)

1600hrs: Afternoon games drive to further explore the park.

1900hrs: Dinner and overnight at Amboseli.

Day 3

Amboseli – Nairobi City

0630hrs: Early morning game drive.

0730hrs: Breakfast is served.

0830hrs: Check out from the hotel with game drive en route as you leave the park.

1400hrs: Arrive in Nairobi late afternoon.
